Server builders invitation
VAR’s are invited to join the KS Channel Partner Program to supply servers to the KS reseller and user market. KS systems are sold in a variety of market spaces such as medical, corporate real estate, legal, law enforcement, corporate services, manufacturing and engineering to name a short list.

Definition:
A VAR is a company that is capable of building cabinet based server systems. The VAR already supplies computers and communications hardware directly to its clients or through a channel reseller network. The VAR agrees to sell KS servers, cabinets, and scanners based on the KS pricing tables. Compensation is based on the price set for servers by KS, which includes a separate price for installation of OS, Tomcat, Apache, and windows Ghost images together with KS Tomcat deployed War files.

The distinction between a reseller and a VAR is: the VAR is permitted to operate as a reseller but its main role is hardware and installation supplier for the channel and therefore must sell all needed servers and clusters to KS or its channel on a demand basis. The VAR must be able to install single servers or clusters on site or as a consulting service to KS and its channel.
